Professor Draayer specializes in early childhood special education. With bachelor's and master's degrees in early childhood special education as well as secondary education, psychology and Spanish, Draayer is certified to teach preschool and kindergarten special education, K-12 Spanish and English as a second language, as well as psychology for grades 5-12. In addition to teaching in Northwestern's graduate school, she also works at the Northwest Area Education Agency as a bilingual early childhood special education teacher and consultant.
