RN to BSN application instructions
New students must be enrolled at least 2 weeks before the start of classes, so be sure to progress through the steps below efficiently.
If you have never applied to Northwestern College before, please apply for admission. Applying is free. If you completed a degree or any classes at Northwestern in the past, simply re-enroll. Applicants to Northwestern's online RN to BSN completion option must be residents of Iowa, Minnesota*, South Dakota or Nebraska.

A minimum GPA of 2.7 is expected.(conditional admission with GPA below 2.7)
Once you have received your acceptance to the RN to BSN completion program you will be asked to provide proof of immunizations and personal professional liability insurance. You will be registered for classes and provided login information that will enable you to access your online classes, your college email, and MyNWC.
Tuition is due prior to each semester you take classes. It is recommended that you complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), found online at fafsa.ed.gov. Northwestern’s ID number for financial aid is 001883.
