B.A. Early Childhood application instructions

Step 1

Apply for admission. If you have never applied to Northwestern College before, apply now for admission.
If you completed a degree or any classes at Northwestern in the past, simply re-enroll. Applying is free. 

Step 2

To be eligible for admission, you must meet the following criteria:

  • An associate's (AA or AS) or bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum undergraduate cumulative GPA of 2.25 on a 4.0 scale (conditional admission with GPA below 2.25)   
  • Send official transcripts from your associate degree and all previous institutions (unofficial transcripts can be sent for a transfer credit review, but official transcripts are required for admission) by mail or as an official e-transcript to the admissions office.

Step 3

Once you've been accepted to Northwestern, you will be given a username and password for accessing your student account: MyNWC to register for classes. You will be registered for classes and provided login information that will enable you to access your online classes, your college email, and MyNWC.

Step 4

Financial aid is available to eligible students and It is recommended that you complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), found online at fafsa.ed.gov. Northwestern’s ID number for financial aid is 001883. Payment plans are also available and tuition is due prior to each semester you take classes.
